2009 Bushwack This! Race Overview

2 day stage race option

A less competative race designed with fun and beginner racers in mind.  This course will consist of orienteering course,  15-25 miles of biking, 5-8 miles trekking,  3-5 miles flatwater paddle and Saturday night mystery event split into two days of racing.

Racers will compete on a 6 hour 20-30 mile course Saturday, meet at race headquarter campground Saturday night for a BBQ, fire and mystery event worth extra points. Sunday morning racers will finsh another 20-30 mile 6 hour course. Times will be combined to determine a winner. 

Stage race racers should have basic navigation, flatwater paddling and biking skills and experience traveling in bear country.

Gear list is the same as 24 hour race.
