Friday Night Adventures #2 - Join us Friday June 18th for Anchorages first and only urban adventure race! Adventure race meets scanvger hunt meets the big city!

Registration starts at 5:30 race at 6, 1.5-2 hours, start/finish - North end of park strip between D and E (meet by train), 20 per racer or 50 for a team of three, cost includes boat rental. Running/walking, biking, boating. Bring a bike (Any bike, road, mountain, cross, cruiser, unicycle will do) helmet and running/walking shoes. Means to carry food and water recommended. Maps are provided, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own maps of the downtown area. Boats, PFDs, and paddles provided. Short flatwater paddle no experience necessary. It is recommended (but not necessary to race) racers bring 5-10 dollars cash to carry thoughout the race. 

Urban Adventure race? All that you love about adventure racing comes to the big city with twist. Racers will navigate on foot and bike through as series of checkpoints as in a regular adventure race, however, these check points are placed in town and require clues to find. Just for fun and family friendly. You'll be finished in time with enough energy for a downtown post race celebration!

Friday Night Adventures #1 - Russian Jack Park. Meet in the Chalet Parking lot, registration begins 5:30, race starts at 6pm. 

Starting May 21st, join us for Friday Night Adventures. Two-three hour mini adventure races, close to town. Courses include biking, trekking and navigation.

Teams of 2-4 will be given maps with checkpoints, racers will determine their route from checkpoint to check point switching modes of transportation along the way.
