Bushwack This! is coming. Be at Cresent Creek Campground Friday the 5th at 8pm sharp for prerace meeting, one racer from each team must attend, race start early Saturday AM. See Matt's final race updates here.

Women Rock race course is being finalized. The 2011 Women Rock Adventure challenge will start on foot, bike, paddle and finish on bikes. Racers will be responsible for dropping of their gear at transition areas the morning of the race. Instructions will be given out at the prerace meeting the week of the race. Only one month away. Its never to early to start thinking of transition areas.

Alaska Adventure Racing's summer 2010 schedule is now posted!!!!! New this year - Friday Night Adventures! 2-4 hour sprint races near Anchorage. Check back for details.
January 14 - The countdown is on for the 2010 Endurance. Meet at 9:30 sharp! with all gear at Prospect Heights Trailhead for prerace meeting, maps handed out at 9:45, race start 10am. Due to problems with the active.com link, race day registration will be available starting at 9am. Bring all race gear to prerace meeting, be prepared to hand off sledding gear (sled, helmet, change of shoes, extra clothes, race food etc) for placement. If dropping more than a sled and helmet please place in a bag or bin with your name on it. Racers may opt to run/walk the sledding leg. See gear list for details. January 4th - Race course finalized. Solo category has been added (you may now race as 1, 2, or 3 person teams, there is no relay division) Avalanche gear is not required. Registration is now available using active.com by using this link online registration

November 2009 - Winter Race is in the works!!! Join us this January for The Endurance, a 4-8 winter adventure.
August 12 - Racers are back at home recovering from a challenging weekend of canoeing, canoe-whacking, biking, trekking through the Talkeetna Mountains near Sheep Mountain Lodge. Racers lucked out on the weather and were met with cloudy skies that held through the 24 hour race, but drenched the second day stage racers. Stay tuned for race course recap, details on this winters adventure race and 2010 USARA National Championships!!!
Race week...Less than one week until race start, checkpoint placement is underway, grab your two best (or toughest) friends and sign up before Thursday August 6th!!!!!!
June 2009: Race location changed. Race HQ is now Sheep Mountain Lodge, mile marker 113 on the Glen Highway, 60 miles east of Sutton.
