2011 Bushwack This! Race Updates

The 2011 Bushwack This! will be a 12 hour race. Those of you who have been scared of the 24, get out and try the 12 this year. It will likly go back to a 24 hour next year.

 Race course will be announced at the Prerace meeting August 5th. Winners will finish in about 12 hours. Racers will travel an unmarked course using topo maps and compass to manned and unmanned checkpoints. Racers should plan on trekking, mountain biking, and canoeing. Racers will be expected to provide their own mountain bikes and canoes (if you need to rent a canoe please contact the race director) along with all the other mandatory team and individual equipment on the gear list. Racers will be expected to plot checkpoint locations on provided maps using UTM coordinates (Race officials can provide limited help on how to plot UTMs).
